Bucket Elevator

Bulk goods like grain, coal, cement, and other kinds of materials are transported from one level to another using bucket elevators, a form of vertical conveyor. These are made up of several buckets connected by a belt or chain that is propelled by a motor or other power source. They are intended to collect the material at a lower level, transport it to a higher level, and then discharge it there. Depending on the application, the lift can be built to work in a continuous or batch mode. In the manufacturing, mining, and agricultural sectors, bucket elevators are used to transfer materials from one step of processing to another.
